So NBC has canceled Law & Order. End of an era, and end of NBC getting anymore of my viewership. I swore off NBC after the Leno/Conan fiasco, but Law & Order remained my one temptation. Now that it’s gone, I doubt I’ll make the effort to tune in to SVU. Why bother, it’s probably next on the chopping block. It will probably be replaced by a cheap reality show — The Divorce Ref, perhaps?
Whoever this cad is that’s running NBC, he really needs to get his head out of his ass. He’s running the network into the toilet, and taking good people with him. Well, he won’t be getting anymore of my advertising dollars. It’ll be interesting to see if any local news stations complain about dropping ratings, since L&O precedes the late night news in most markets. I wonder what will happen with the current cast? Poor Jeremy Sisto. I really like him as an actor, and was looking forward to Kidnapped (canceled by NBC after THREE episodes) back when it premiered. Now it looks like he’s going to have to find wherever Vincent D’Onofrio is hiding and join him there. Don’t even get me started on Criminal Intent…
Everything I feel in one post. Though I love SVU. And Community. I guess I’ll be hanging out with Hulu a lot more.
